Las Vegas happens to be one of the most popular destination weddings. And why not? No one can rival their creativity in holding weddings. Be it a Star Trek wedding, an Elvis wedding, a Gothic wedding, a drive-through wedding or even a nude wedding, Las Vegas has it all!
But how do you organize a wedding in Las Vegas when you’re living at the opposite end of the country? Simple. You get a Las Vegas wedding package. You don’t even have to leave the comfort of your home to purchase a wedding package in Las Vegas, because there are a whole lot of offers and deals available on the Internet.
A Las Vegas wedding package allows you to tie up all the details you need to get done for the wedding, all for the price of one. It all depends on which package you would choose.
The Packages
A lot of Las Vegas chapels offer wedding packages for your convenience, which you can take a look at in the Internet. You can either choose chapels located at the famous Las Vegas strip, or you can choose casino wedding chapels, which happen to have a lot more class.
The Las Vegas wedding packages are pretty diverse and have different features to help you with your wedding. For example, there are Las Vegas wedding packages that offer a complimentary limousine, the use of a chapel, photographs and videos, wedding music, plastic rings, bouquets and boutonnieres, wedding garters, bottles of champagne, etc. It all really depends on how much you’re willing to spend.
Some wedding chapels in Las Vegas that offer wedding packages include The Bellagio, A Special Memory The Venetian, Caesar’s Palace, and the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel, to name a few. You can also create your own Las Vegas wedding package if you are so inclined.
Tips
Peak Seasons
Before you choose a Las Vegas wedding package, first settle upon a wedding date. Valentine’s Day, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve are the peak seasons of weddings in Las Vegas. As such, chapels, facilities, and reservations become fully booked. So should you choose to have your wedding date set on those peak seasons, remember to book a Las Vegas wedding package really early, one year in advance to be safe, so that it would all still be available.
Legalities
Although getting married in Las Vegas is quick and easy, remember that you have to have a marriage license first to do so. The good thing is that there is no waiting period to obtain one, just around thirty minutes to an hour in the Las Vegas Marriage Bureau. So not only will you need to purchase a Las Vegas wedding package, you would also need a marriage license as well, because these are usually not included in the wedding packages.
Ceremony & Officials
Las Vegas wedding packages usually come with the conducting of the ceremony itself, as well as the minister who will officiate it. Witnesses are already available on hand, in case you don’t have any.
Timing
Las Vegas weddings are usually conducted at a fast pace. If you choose to have your wedding especially during the peak seasons, there are several weddings that need to be done one after the other on the same day. Hence, you don’t get a lot of wedding time in the chapel. So if you want to have a longer booking time in the chapel for the ceremony, you usually have to pay more for the privilege in your Las Vegas wedding package.
