If you want to do something a little out of the ordinary for your wedding ceremony, then you should consider having a Hawaii wedding vacation. Casual friends that you might have invited to a regular wedding won’t be able to show up.

You must figure out everything so that it will be completely perfect once you arrive, since you won’t have the option of going to get the dress resized or buy another package of napkins. You might be able to find a few small things in Hawaii, but you probably won’t be able to find the exact type you had at your local store.

Therefore, you should create a detailed list before hand. Figure out what you will need based on the number of guests. Run through the wedding in your mind, with all of the supplies laid out in front of you. You might think of something you are missing, and be really relieved you did! Just remember, you can’t fly back home to pick up stuff you forget during your Hawaii wedding vacation.

Also before you leave, have your dress fit again. And again. Go to the bridal shop the day before you leave to make sure that the dress is perfect, This will reduce the potential risk of arriving at your Hawaii wedding vacation only to realize that the dress is too big and is going to fall down around your ankles.

Extra Accessories

When packing, you should set aside an entire suitcase for accessories. After you are done with that, set aside another suitcase for extra accessories. Bring along extra stockings, garter belts, and anything you could possibly need. During your Hawaii wedding vacation, it can be easy to misplace some of the smaller things. It’s easier to bring along extras than it is to find completely new ones! I know this from experience, so save yourself the last minute stress and bring along extras of all the easily breakable or easily misplaced items.

Renting Tuxedos vs. Bringing Them

You may be thinking about renting the tuxedos from a local place once you arrive in Hawaii. This is not a good idea at all. It may be less convenient to drag all the tuxedos along, but getting them fit in your home town will provide you plenty of time to get them just right. The bride, groom, and the grooms attendants will all have solace in the fact that the tuxedos fit perfectly and there is nothing to worry about in this regard.

A Hawaii wedding vacation can be a very fun and interesting way to deviate from the traditional wedding. However, you always need to be careful and plan ahead properly.
