Best Destination Weddings

Maybe you are planning a wedding, and your goal is to have one of the best destination weddings ever conceived by man. Well, this can be hard to do. Choosing a destination which is convenient for your guests and easy to transport equipment to can be quite difficult. However, I have been to many weddings in my day. I have a pretty good idea of what areas make the best destination weddings, and I will try to outline those here.

Hawaii

One of the best destination weddings you can have is in Hawaii. I had the pleasure of attending one about 3 years ago. When you attend a wedding in Hawaii, it is nothing like anything you could have attended in the past. Not only is the scenery beautiful, but the ministers are extremely strong.

While I was at mine, a car veered off the nearby road and began on a collision course towards the wedding. The brave, strong Hawaiian minister did the bravest thing a man could do, and stopped the car with his bare hands. Afterwards we discovered that it was a setup – apparently he thought we came to be entertained by a strong-man act.

Ireland

Another one of the best destination weddings was when I went to Northern Ireland for my niece’s wedding. I must admit I also did a little golfing while I was there. If you have your wedding in Ireland, you will be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery and history of the country, and get a bit of golfing in while you are at it.

It is known for being one of the most beautiful tourist countries in the world, as well as having great historical chapels and some of the most skilled ministers in the world. Having your wedding in Ireland can be very expensive, so it might not be for everyone.

Las Vegas

One of the more popular and best destination weddings in recent years has been Las Vegas. If you have your wedding in Las Vegas, there is no end to the options. You can get married through an Elvis impersonator, or while skydiving out of an airplane. Usually these weddings can be a little less family oriented.

After all, you can’t invite your parents to go skydiving with you (unless they are much healthier than mine are!) Therefore if you are more of a spontaneous and fun loving type of couple, then a Las Vegas wedding might be for you.

Mexico

Having your wedding in Mexico could prove to be the best destination wedding you could possibly choose. Since it isn’t overseas, relatives still have the option of driving to save money. There are many beautiful beaches to have your wedding on, if you choose to have an outdoor wedding. The best part is that for the honeymoon afterwards, you hardly have to travel any further to find a great place!

I have outlined some of the best destination weddings that a couple can choose from. However, there are literally thousands of options for places to get married in. Almost everywhere you go in the world, you can find a chapel and a minister willing to marry you. It is just a matter of deciding what you would like and then making the necessary plans.
